I don’t know why but it seems every year in January and February most of my sessions are for newborns, and I am not complaining! It works out well since its usually really cold in Ohio in the winter, and we’re able to have these newborn sessions in the comfort of my clients’ homes. Doing it that way is great for the parents because they’re still getting used to having their new baby at home, and they don’t have to worry about getting to the studio on time because I come to them. On the other hand, the studio is also always an option if you’d rather not have these sessions take place in your home! The studio is a great alternative for people who don’t want their home photographed, and it will allow you to not stress over picking up your home before the session.
I have been so lucky to work with this family a few times over the years. In the fall, I was able to take maternity photos for their family. Being able to capture their maternity photos and then meet their new baby is so amazing, I especially loved watching the big brothers dote on their new baby brother. I am truly thankful to be able to watch my clients’ families expand, and to capture these moments in time while their children grow bigger.
